Mrs. Destiny Lavigne

I'm a mom, teacher, and author. My son Grant inspires a lot of my stories as well as my own childhood. I'm a special education teacher and have been teaching for eight years. I've mainly taught 6th through 8th grade. I self-published a book called "Half of Harvey" that dives into multiracial identity. I've also been featured in the Los Angeles Times and am a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators.
